THE LEGACY

A2 Galleries emerges from a deep-rooted family tradition where art and gastronomy have been intertwined for generations. The Adelsohn Guttmann family, anchored in Bogotá’s historic Santa Fe and La Soledad neighborhoods, began with Doña Bune, renowned for preparing kosher meals for local rabbis, delicacies like the finest gefilte fish, impossible to find elsewhere at the time. Her husband, Kurt (Opicito), a Holocaust survivor and skilled horseman, brought a legacy of resilience and craftsmanship. Together, they built a life in Colombia, merging their European roots with local flavors, where every meal became an artistic expression of their journey.
