I am an artist who focuses his work and discourse on the distortion and exploration of dissimilar forms; usually human portraits.

The function of the portrait in my work at the moment serves as experimental exercises of drawing and color, light and shadow, delving into the study of physiognomy and the psychological identity of this, giving way to new forms of a pictorial facial language. In my most recent figs there is an analysis of the history of the portrait and its use as objects of worship (representations of political and religious leaders) and the transformation of these into amorphous and deformed beings that I like to call THERATOS.
